I’ve been taking CBD oil religiously now for around 9 months. Did you know that the endocannabinoid system had not even been discovered until 1992? The endocannabinoid system has been recently recognized as an important modulatory system in the function of brain, endocrine, and immune tissues. It appears to play a very important regulatory role in the secretion of hormones related to reproductive functions and response to stress. They’re learning more every day about endocannabinoid system and how CBD affects it.
It just blows my mind that no one ever even knew about all of this until 92. No wonder CBD is such a hot topic these days. Anyway, I won’t get too into the science of why CBD works so well, but I will say that as a bodybuilder, runner and health advocate that has tried just about any and every safe natural supplement on the planet, CBD oil flat out works period.
It works for aches, pains, muscle fatigue and recuperation. I like to jog in the warm weather months for cardio and as I run, all I can say is no more knee pain. Prior to CBD oil my knees were bad news. Ouch.
It took me a while to find my CBD sweet spot. By sweet spot, I mean correct dosage. Many suggest to start small. 2 drops sublingual 2 times per day and increase gradually until desired effect is reached. I personally increased my dosage to a point where I was consuming 10 drops of the HempWorx 750 three times per day. The effect was awesome. However, to be honest, even though I was pain free, I was tire as hell. No energy or ambition to lift weights and I was dragging on my runs.
As it turns out, my tiredness may have been a blessing in disguise. It enticed me to give MDC Boost Energy Spray a try. I no longer take CBD oil in the morning prior to my workouts. It’s a big mistake if you live an active lifestyle. I take it only after my last workout, whether it be lifting or running. In other words, use it to recuperate from training. Do not use it pre-training because it does tend to relax and tire you out. Post training, in my opinion, there’s nothing better than CBD oil. It helps you recuperate from training and you will sleep like a baby.
